The main aim of CASHOTA, is to setup an amateur radio station and transmit from historical sites, such as castles and stately homes.
This also includes follies, raths, standing stones, forts, towers, etc within the UK and Ireland, of which there is a rich abundance.
As well as those operators who are known as activators when they setup a station at a site. We also have Chasers. Amateur operators who are collecting activations for one of our awards.
If you have completed your award level and wish to apply for an award, just follow the instructions
If interested in activating a site, then please go to the activation page
If you need anymore information then please go to the contacts page
CASHOTA and its sister award programs are organised and maintained by a group of amateur radio volunteers, for the interest of all our dedicated activators and chasers. And we welcome any interested persons to participate in our program.
